UTStarcom aiming toward budget friendly phones.

The cellphone industry is plagued with a large amount of cellphones that we all wish we can have if they were only cheaper. I often hear about new phones coming out that only 2% of the population can afford and the rest are left envious of those 2%. UTStarcom is trying to put an end to overpriced phones by offering 3 entry level and affordable phones. The CDM 7026 and 7076 are both very similar in looks and features since 8MB of RAM and MP3 ring tones come standard on both. Neither of the two are drop dead gorgeous but they both do offer users the opportunity to enjoy some of the features you would only find on high end phones. The third phone to come out of the lineup is the Ultra thin phone which is slated to a be a Virgin Mobile phone (slice) and will come with features including 64MB of onboard storage, bluetooth, speakerphone, voice dialing, and a camera. UTStarcom is on the right track with the release of these price friendly phones for those of us who can't fork out our month's paycheck on a single phone. Kudos to UTStarcom.
Cheers,
John
